EC25

Quectel EC25 is a series of Category 4 LTE modules specially optimized for M2M and IoT applications. Adopting 3GPP Rel. 11 LTE technology, it offers 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps link speeds. Designed as part of a compact, unified form factor, EC25 is compatible with the Quectel UMTS/HSPA+ UC20 module and the EC20/EC21 multi-mode LTE module, enabling flexible migration between them in design and manufacture.

EC25 contains 6 variants. This makes it backwards compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring that it can be connected even in remote areas with no 4G or 3G coverage.

EC25 supports Qualcomm IZat's Gen8C Lite localization technology. Integrated GNSS greatly simplifies product design and delivers faster, more accurate and more reliable positioning.

A rich set of Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and abundant functionality extends the module's applicability to a wide range of M2M and IoT applications such as industrial routers, industrial PDAs, rugged tablet PCs, video surveillance and digital signage.
