EG06

Quectel EG06 is a series of Category 6 LTE Advanced modules specially optimized for M2M and IoT applications. Adopting 3GPP Rel. 12 LTE technology, it offers m2M-optimized speeds of 300 Mbit/s downlink and 50Mbit/s uplink peak data rates. Designed in the LGA form factor, EG06 is compatible with the future Quectel EG09 Cat.9 DE module, the EG12 Cat.12 module and the EG16 Cat.16 module, which will help customers migrate between different categories in the future.

EG06 contains 5 variants (EG06-E, EG06-A, EG06-LA, EG06-APAC and EG06-AUTL) which are known for different target regions and cover almost all major river transporters worldwide.

EG06 supports Qualcomm IZat's Gen8C Lite positioning technology (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS). Integrated GNSS greatly simplifies product design and offers faster, more accurate and more reliable positioning capability.

A rich set of Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and extensive functionality (USB drivers for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10, Linux, Android/eCall*) extend the module's applicability to a wide range of M2M and IoT applications such as industrial routers, home gateways, STBs, industrial PDAs, rugged tablets, video surveillance and digital signage, etc.
