LTE-Cat6 UMTS GNSS mPCIe
Quectel EP06 is an integration system for LTE Advanced Category 6 modules, specially optimized for M2M and IoT applications. Adopting 3GPP Rel. 12 LTE technology, it offers m2M-required speeds of 300 Mbit/s downlink and 50Mbit/s uplink peak data rates. Designed in the Mini PCIe form factor, EP06 is compatible with the future Cat.9 EP09 module, the Cat.12 EP12 module and the Cat.16 EP16 module, which will help customers migrate between different categories in the future.
EP06 contains 4 variants (EP06-E, EP06-A, EP06-LA and EP06-APAC) which are known for different target regions and cover almost all major flow carriers worldwide.
EP06 supports Qualcomm's Gen8C Lite positioning technology (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS). Integrated GNSS greatly simplifies product design and offers faster, more accurate and more reliable positioning capability.
A rich set of Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and extensive functionality (USB drivers for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10, Linux, Android/eCall*) extend the module's applicability to a wide range of M2M and IoT applications such as industrial routers, home gateways, STBs, industrial PDAs, rugged tablets, video surveillance and digital signage, etc.
